Kerala TET 2016 Result
Government of Kerala conducted Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (KTET) Exam 2016 at various examination centres in Kerala State on date 5 &19 November 2016. A prospectus for the examination is made available in the website of Pareeksha Bhavan www.keralapareekshabhavan.in and SCERT (www.scert.kerala.gov.in.
K-TET 2016 Cut off Marks
Mostly Government of Kerala releases the KTET Solved Question Papers/answer key officially. In case, the Government of Kerala do not publish K-TET 2016 answer key that some coaching centers do publish their version of answer key with solved question paper online.
You can check your OMR sheet and do next activities regarding this exam processes. The date for the issuance of answer keys has not been officially notified by the Government of Kerala but normally it takes 2-3 weeks time.
But some coaching centers do available on same day of examination date. The coaching institutes have released the answer keys for all Papers with every section.
Cut off Marks of K-TET 2016

The exam fee is Rs.500/-(Rupees Five Hundred) for each category. Fee for SC/ST and differently able categories is Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and fifty)
Eligibility for KTET 2016:
CATEGORY-I (for Lower Primary classes)
Minimum Qualifications to apply
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two year Trained Teachers Certificate (TTC) [by whatever name known] conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent.
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Relaxation of qualifying marks to apply for K-TET–I
Relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks is admissible for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Differently abled categories. (as per the norms or as desired by the Govt. of Kerala) and relaxation of 3% in qualifying marks is admissible for OBC & OEC candidates
CATEGORY II: (for Upper Primary classes)
Minimum Qualifications to apply
i) B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com. and 2year Diploma in Elementary Education/Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) [by whatever name known] conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent.
B.A/B.Sc/ B.Com with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed or B.Sc.Ed.
Relaxation of qualifying marks to apply for K-TET-II
Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC/ST and Differently abled categories. A relaxation of 3% in the minimum qualifying marks is admissible for OBC & OEC candidates.
Category III (for High School classes)
Those who possess minimum educational qualifications as delineated here under are eligible to appear for K-TET III.
The test is for HSAs in: (i) Malayalam (ii) English (iii) Hindi (iv) Sanskrit (v) Tamil (vi) Kannada (vii) Arabic (viii) Urdu (ix) Social Science (x) Physical Science (xi) Natural Science and (xii) Mathematics Minimum qualification to apply
(i) BA/BSc/B.Com with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned (from any one of the Universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other Universities recognized as equivalent ther eto.)
(ii) For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, those who have MSc.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned with not less than 50% marks from one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT will be eligible to apply. For Botany and Zoology subjects, those with MSc.Ed. Degree in Life Science with not less than 50% marks from any of the Regional Institutes of Education are eligible to apply.
Scheme of the Test
There will be only one paper in this category. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four distracters.
Each question carries one mark. There will before alternatives out of which one will be the correct answer. The total number of MCQs shall be 150.
